Abstract

It is provided with a short-time program disc (1), which executes one complete revolution in 24 hours, and with a long-time program disc (10) which executes one complete revolution in one week. The short-time program disc (1) is provided with a plurality of switching slides (4). These each drive the long-time program disc (10) in steps via a stepping mechanism, so that, after the last switching step taking place within the 24 hours of a particular day, the long-time program disc (10) has executed exactly one seventh of a revolution. The long-time program disc (10) is subdivided into seven sectors of equal size, which themselves again consist of a number of angular segments of equal size, this number of angular segments corresponding to the total number of switching slides (4) arranged on the short-time program disc (1). The long-time program disc (10) is provided with teeth (20) which are arranged according to the desired long-time program and which actuate an electrical switch (24).
