Abstract

1515299 Stabilized sodium percarbonate UNILEVER Ltd 26 Aug 1975 [28 Aug 1974] 37650/74 Heading C1A [Also in Divisions Dl and C5] Sodium percarbonate is stabilized against loss of oxygen when incorporated in a detergent composition. by admixture with ¢ to 4% by weight, based on the percarbonate, of an oily, perfume diluent, selected from dimethyl, diethyl or dibutyl phthalate, mineral oil or the hydrogenated ester of pine rosin. The oily diluent may be sprayed, optionally in admixture with a perfume, directly on to the percarbonate, or admixed in a fluidised bed with the detergent powder into which the percarbonate is to be incorporated. The exemplified spray-dried detergent powder contains (I) dodecyl benzene sulphonate, anhydrous soap, sodium sulphate and sodium tripolyphosphate. The perfume may itself contain percarbonate stabilizing components.
