Abstract

1514884 Pedestal stands FERIEPRODUKTER AB 3 Feb 1976 [15 April 1975] 04225/76 Heading A4H [ Also in Division E2] A parasol shaft 1 is fastened to a base (2) by means of a fastening device (3) comprising a plastics bushing 4 rigidly fastened to the base (2) for receiving the shaft 1 and a plastics wedge 7 pressed into the bushing 4, the bushing 4 and the wedge 7 having respective grooves 6, 9 on surfaces 5, 8 for interengagement to hold the wedge 7 in its fastening position. The wedge 7 has a V-shaped contact surface 10 abutting the shaft (1) and a hole 11 for connecting the wedge 7 by means of a cord to the bushing 4.
