Abstract

1514332 Supporting ducting G A FORBES 8 Sept 1975 [29 Jan 1975 1 April 1975 23 May 1975] 3864/75 13135/75 and 22751/75 Heading F2P In a method of supporting rectangularsectioned ducting, the ducting 10 is supported at spaced locations along its length by a pair of opposed angle elements 11 in which the ducting is indirectly seated at its lower corner edges with isolating elements 15 disposed between the elements 11 and the ducting, the elements 11 being secured together by means of a tie rod 13 extending beneath the bottom wall of the ducting and being suspended from drop rods 12. Elements 15 may be of thermal and/or sound insulating material. Similar angle elements may also be provided at the upper corner edges of the ducting, these elements being also interconnected by a tie rod and connected to the lower elements by the drop rods (Fig. 3). In the case where upper angular elements are also used a single central drop rod may be used to support the arrangement (Figs. 3a and 3b, not shown). Specification 1,514,333 is referred to.
