Abstract

1513176 Lens mounts DECCA Ltd 22 June 1976 [30 May 1975] 23638/75 Heading G2J In a reflective laser system for deriving a doppler signal denoting the movement of an object, a lens 7 for scanning the laser beam over the object is carried on the free end of a cantilever 22 with its axis substantially parallel to the cantilever. At least one electrical coil is employed to move the free end of the cantilever in a plane normal to the cantilever so as to effect scanning. An additional slight circular movement may be imposed upon the scanning movement of the lens by means of Piezo-electric bimorphs spaced around the lens and acting to move the lens in a plane normal to the axis thereof relative to the cantilever.
