Abstract

1513069 Assembling reaction vessels DEGGENDORFER WERFT UND EISENBAU GmbH 29 Sept 1976 [1 Oct 1975] 40329/76 Heading B1F A tubular or polygonal reaction vessel containing catalyst tubes is produced by assembling on the site individual reactors, each sector comprising a hollow body defining an enclosed space and having side walls which extend radially in the assembled vessel. The side walls 13, Fig. 7, of adjacent sectors may be held apart by distance pieces 16, and the tube plates of adjacent sectors which overlap the vertical walls of the sectors may be joined by welds 14, Fig. 8 and a welded plate 15 which bridges a gap between the tube plates.
