Abstract
1512157 Telegraphy SIEMENS AG 20 Oct 1976 [17 Dec 1975] 43484/76 Heading H4P The arrangement eliminates the necessity for a known keyboard locking device operable when a multi-stage keyboard character store is full by providing instead, when the store is full, a signal which disconnects input from the keyboard and activates a visual alarm. The signal may be disabled manually when the store is less than full. The signal may be provided by a multi-stage flow register which also serves to control output of temporarily stored characters from the store.
