Abstract

1511140 Heavy load transport apparatus RIGGING INTERNATIONAL EUROPE Ltd 21 May 1975 [14 June 1974 27 July 1974] 26393/74 Heading B7B Transporter apparatus for massive loads, e.g. oil rigs, includes three transport units 2, 3, 4 arranged in a triangle and interconnected by a load support, a bolster 14, 13 on each unit for supporting the load support, at least one unit being driven. Each bolster has a depending pivot pin which is received in an open ended cylinder on each unit. The cylinder of one unit is fixed (Fig. 2, not shown) but those of the other units are slidable on a table (Fig. 3, not shown). The tables have concentric upstanding rings flanking the cylinders to guide the movement thereof.
