1511077 Purifying liquids SAINT GOBAIN TECHNIQUES NOUVELLES 30 June 1976 [30 June 1975] 27236/76 Heading C1C Liquids are purified by a flotation process in which the liquid containing solid particles is brought into contact with a liquid containing fine bubbles in a first zone where the speed of liquid and its turbulence encourage anchoring of the bubbles on the particles of solid while preventing decantation and in which the separation of solid particles from the liquid is carried out in a second zone where the speed of the liquid and its turbulence are less than in the first zone, the liquid carrying the solid particles and the liquid containing fine bubbles executing a helicoidal ascending movement in the first zone.
