1510687 Warning lamps COPELY DEVELOPMENTS Ltd and J D COPELY 10 Nov 1976 [28 Nov 1975] 48952/75 Heading F4R A lighting device for marking road works or other hazards or adapted to be worn by persons working in dangerous localities comcomprises a plurality of lamps housed in respective inner tubes and interconnected by an electric cable serving to space the lamps apart, the cable and the lamps being housed in an outer flexible light-transmitting sheath. The lamps may be assembled on a three- or fourwire system so that alternate or alternate-butone lamps are on the same circuit. A mechanical or electronic switching device illuminates the lamps sequentially so that they appear to chase one another along the length of the outer sheath and serve as a direction indicator.
