Abstract

1510514 Winch dyeing machine LEEMETALS Ltd 2 July 1976 [5 July 1975] 28422/75 Heading D1L Winch dyeing machine for fabric in endless loop form comprises a closed vessel 1 having a false bottom 6 defining a return passageway for the fabric and a lifting roller and a liq. outlet at each end of the vessel above the liq. level, outlet 16 forming the fabric leaving roller 9 into folds on the false bottom whilst the other outlet conveys the fabric from roller 11 into the return passageway 7. The false bottom adjacent the inlet end of the passageway 7 is perforated at 8 to recycle liq. from within the vessel. The liq. is delivered to each outlet via a heat exchanger (3) [Fig. 2 (not shown)] from a pump 2 in communication with passageway 7, flow within the delivery lines 4, 4a being controlled by butterfly valves 12, 13. Spray pipes 15 for washing liq. are disposed in the upper part of the vessel. A chemical makeup tank 17 is provided in a separate circulation system controlled by tank 14.
