Abstract
1509895 Thermosyphons INDUSTRY SECRETARY OF STATE FOR 8 April 1975 [8 April 1974] 15540/74 Heading F4U A thermosyphon having a heat receiving surface 1 and a heat dissipating surface 3 separated by a baffle 5 spaced from the bottom 6 of the thermosyphon. The quantity of vaporizable liquid in the thermosyphon is such that when the thermosyphon is vertically arranged and in the absence of vapour bubbles in the liquid, the baffle extends above the top of the liquid in the vessel and, when the thermosyphon is in use, the liquid intermediate the baffle and the evaporating surface extends to the top surface of the baffles.
