1508390 Suspending curtains; curtains S SILVESTRE 4 May 1976 18190/76 Headings A4B and A4S A curtain suspension system which maintains gathers in the curtain 21 comprises a suspension bar 6 with a top, longitudinal slot 19, supports 7 for the bar 6 having a head 20 disposed within the bar and a neck extending through the slot 19, a curtain 21 having circular holes 12 adjacent its top edge and having extension slots 22 extending to the top edge, and rings 1, 3 and 24 surrounding adjacent holes 12 and connected by a link 5 which limits the spacing apart of the holes 12 to maintain gathers, the rings 1, 3 and 2, 4 also being open at the top, as at 23, so that the curtain may slide freely past the supports 7. Each ring comprises a plastics part 3 or 4 and a metal part 1 or 2, the parts 1, 3 and 2, 4 co-operating to clamp the curtain between them.
