1507249 Securing stator windings G M KHUTORETSKY A I VORONTSOV and ADIGNATIEV 9 Dec 1976 51447/76 Heading H2A In a stator arrangement wherein winding bars 6 are retained in core slots (4, Fig. 2, not shown) by means of pairs of oppositely directed wedges 8/9 and 8/11, end portions 12 of the endmost wedges 11 adjoining the bars 6 extend outside the stator core 2 and have transverse slots 13 with a fastening band 14 located therein, the band 14 surrounding the bars 6. Radial and axial movements of the bars 6 are thereby opposed.
