Abstract

1506055 Punching laminations GENERAL ELECTRIC CO Ltd 6 Oct 1976 [16 July 1975] 29827/75 Heading B3W Laminations each comprising an E portion 1 and a T portion 2 interfitting to form a rectangle, are punched out in pairs without waste from a rectangular sheet which has a first pair of opposite sides equal in length to the height a of the E and a second pair of opposite sides equal in length to twice the overall length f of the outer limbs, the height a being equal to the sum of the width c and twice the protruding length b of the middle limb and the protruding length d of the outer limbs being equal to the sum of the length b and half the width c of the middle limb so that the remaining portion of the sheet constitutes the pair of T portions. If an air gap is required a strip is punched out at the junction of the T portions.
