Abstract
1505449 Dredging SULZER BROS Ltd 15 Dec 1976 [16 Dec 1975] 52329/76 Heading E1F In the raising of solids from the sea bed to a ship 2 by hydrostatic pressure, pressure loss in a delivery line 17 and a pressure line 14 is overcome by having at an intermediate height below the water level, a hydraulic motor 4 e.g. a turbine, drivingly connected to a multi-stage centrifugal pump 11, the hydraulic motor being connected in an open system (Fig. 1) or a closed system (Fig. 2 not shown) to a high pressure pump 3 on the ship 2 by a pressure fluid line 6.
