Abstract
1505218 Heat pumps MATSUSHITA SEIKO CO Ltd 4 June 1976 23205/76 Headings F4H and F4U An air conditioning device T comprises a single outdoor heat exchange unit 8 incorporat ing a plurality of heat exchange elements 13 13<SP>1</SP>, 13<SP>11</SP> and a fan 10; and a plurality of indoor heat exchange units 1 each incorporating a heat exchange element 2, a compressor 3, a liquid receiver 4, an expansion device 5, a four way valve 6, and a fan 7. As shown, each in door heat exchange element 2 is connected to an outdoor heat exchange element 13 by piping 11, 12. In an alternative embodiment (Fig. 4 not shown) depending on the output require ments of the various indoor units, the indoor heat exchange elements 2 may be connected ir series to a plurality of outdoor heat exchange elements 13.
