Abstract
1505011 Reflective signs C S CARLSON 16 Feb 1976 05981/76 Heading G5C [Also in Divisions E1 and E2] A safety reflector comprises a pair of discs 12, each having a reflex reflective material 14 on the front face thereof and complementary snap acting fasteners 16, 26 on the rear face thereof for locking the discs together in spaced apart, back-to-back relationship. The discs may thus be secured to the spokes of a bicycle by clamping the spokes between the discs (Fig 9), or may be used in combination with a U- shaped band which is secured between the discs (Fig. 11) for clipping to a belt, pocket or trousers. Alternatively the U-shaped band may be provided with one half of the fastening and one of the discs may be fixed to the band (Fig. 10), or the discs may be provided with bores which pass through the fasteners and one of the discs may be bolted to the rear mudguard of a bicycle (Fig. 12).
