Abstract

1504492 Ear-piercing device E W HUDSON and V G KEATING 4 Oct 1976 41107/76 Heading A5R [Also in Divisions A1 and A3] The head 16 of an ear-piercing pin is provided with the male element 18 of a press stud, the female element 20 of which includes an ornamented portion 22. The pin is used in apparatus comprising means for holding said pin and a retainer 14 on opposite sides of an ear lobe and spring-loaded means for forcing the pin through the lobe to be releasably retained by the engagement of the retainer in an indentation 12 on the pin.
