1504468 Rolling mill rollers BOART INTERNATIONAL Ltd 3 Aug 1976 [6 Aug 1975] 32361/76 Heading B3M A rolling mill roller includes a hard metal sleeve 3 supported on a hollow arbor 4, the sleeve being urged by at least one Belleville spring 10 against a clamping flange 5 integral with the arbor. The spring is held in place by a removable clamping flange 8. An annular pressure plate is located between the spring(s) and sleeve 3, and is provided with radially inwardly projecting portions which prevent relative rotation between the sleeve and arbor (while permitting relative axial movement).
