Abstract

1503166 Colour television INDESIT INDUSTRIA ELETTRODOMESTICI ITALIANA SpA 11 Sept 1975 [27 Sept 1974] 37444/75 Heading H4F A circuit arrangement, for eliminating half amplitude colour edges occurring in PAL type receivers in which phase errors are removed by adding a delayed and undelayed line, comprises amplitude detectors 22, 23 in the undelayed and delayed lines respectively, gates 25, 26 which are rendered conductive by detectors 22, 23 both receiving colour signals, summation circuit 28 and 6dB amplifier 27. At the beginning and end of a colour signal only one detector generates a "1" at the input to the AND gate hence gates 25, 26 are non-conducting and only the undelayed signal, doubled in amplitude at 27, is passed to summation circuit 28.
