Abstract

1501953 Colour television INDESIT INDUSTRIA ELLETTRODOMESTICI ITALIANA SpA 6 Oct 1975 [7 Oct 1974] 40855/75 Heading H4F A circuit arrangement, for processing a chroma signal in a PAL receiver to eliminate colour saturation errors caused by phase errors between adjacent lines, operates by delaying the chroma signal by one line, adding it in a summation circuit to the following undelayed line, amplifying the summed signal in a variable gain amplifier and comparing the amplitude of the output signal from said amplifier with the undelayed signal whose amplitude has been doubled in another amplifier with a gain of 2. The output of the comparison circuit controls the gain of the variable gain amplifier so that the output signal has twice the amplitude of the undelayed input signal, but the phase of the summed signal.
