Abstract

Compounds of the formula: <IMAGE> in which Z<1> and Z<2> denote hydrogen or alkyl and R denotes one of the groups -NHR<1>, -NHCH2R<2> and -NHCHR<3>R<4>, in which R<1>, R<2>, R <3 and R<4> have the meanings given in Claim 1, exert a potent bronchodilator action; the compounds and their salts are suitable for the therapy and prophylaxis of asthma and angina pectoris. They are prepared by reduction of corresponding 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-2-(Q)-naphthalene-1-ones, in which Q denotes one of the groups -NHR<1>, -NHCOR<2> and -N=CR<3>R<4>; if Q denotes one of the two last-mentioned groups, it is additionally reduced.
