Abstract

1501425 Document copying apparatus RANK XEROX Ltd 24 March 1975 12174/75 Heading G2X A document copying apparatus comprising two transparent exposure platens 31, 60 spaced one above the other, and a web of overlay material 50 a portion of which is to be selectively copied with a document supported on the upper platen 60, includes strips 71 for supporting the web between the platens 31, 60 in spaced relationship therewith, and means for moving the web, the two platens being curved in the direction of movement of the web. The web 50 is fed from one spool 42 to another, both spools being portioned so that the edges of the web are urged down against the support strips 71. The web carries different masks or information which are selectively portioned between the platens. Means for accurately positioning the required portion of the web is provided.
