1500822 Thermally insulated conduit DRAGERWERK AG 14 Aug 1975 [27 Aug 1974] 33897/75 Heading F2P A thermally insulated flexible conduit comprises one or more flexible internal tubes 1, a flexible external tube 2 with a spice 3 therebetween, which space is at substantially atmospheric pressure and is filled with flexible thermally insulating textile fabric layers 4 arranged face to face on one another. The layers 4, preferably, are of fabric composed of threads of low thermal conductivity and are each tubular and arranged one in another. The conduit is especially suited to conduct cold fluids, e.g. lowboiling-point liquids. In a second embodiment (Figs. 3 and 4, not shown) the internal tube comprises outer and inner coaxial tubes and these and the external tube are corrugated. In this embodiment the inner internal tube conducts a low-boiling-point liquid and the outer internal tube conducts a vapour of such liquid and is pervious to such vapour whilst the external tube is impervious to such vapour.
