1500505 Multiple channel extrusion SOLAR WATER HEATERS Ltd 8 Aug 1975 [10 Aug 1974 18 Aug 1974 21 Nov 1974] 35339/74 45327/74 and 50520/74 Heading B5A [Also in Division F4] A solar heater comprises a panel including two flat members which are spaced apart by internal wall members to form channels for the passage of a fluid, the flat members and internal wall members being formed as a one-piece extrusion of a plastics material or glass. The plastics material may be polypropylene polymers or copolymers, PVC and its derivatives, or polyethylene. Headers at the longitudinal ends of the panel may be formed from plastics extrusions. Alternatively, headers, end caps and inlets/ outlets may be produced in a single piece by vacuum forming or blow moulding.
