Abstract

1496501 Glassware cooling stack EMHART (UK) Ltd 13 March 1975 [21 March 1974] 12593/74 Heading C1M In a cooling stack unit for a glassware-forming machine the cooling face has a plurality of holes in which are releasably mounted nozzles which have a bore which terminates, at the interior of the cooling face, in a part shaped to conform to BSI 1042: Part 1: 1964, para 79 subsection e(i). The rate of flow of air supplied to the cooling stack may be controlled (1) solely by the pressure of inlet air, (2) by providing a shutter in the air inlet or (3) by providing holes in the top cover of the stack filled with sintered bronze covered by a slidable plate for uncovering a variable number of holes.
