Abstract

1494935 Selective printing D & D ASSOCIATES 16 July 1975 [18 Sept 1974] 29787/75 Heading B6F A wire mosaic printer comprises a base 70 on which a plurality of electromagnet actuators are mounted, each actuator comprising two poles 76, 78, a coil 74 and an armature 80, the armatures being held on to the poles 78 by a spider 94 comprising a central portion 94 and a plurality of arms 106 each associated with one of the armatures 80. The spider includes a groove 102 housing a shock absorbing ring 104 which acts as a return stop for the armatures 80.
