Abstract

1494475 Golf practice mat RUBEROID Ltd 10 Feb 1975 [9 Nov 1973] 52239/73 Heading A6D A golf practice mat comprises two members 2 and 3 adapted to be placed on a flat surface with complementary edges in abutment. Member 2 is provided with three holes 4, 5 and 6 in each of which a golf tee may be inserted, and is marked with an arrow 8. Member 3 is marked with three arrows 9, 10 and 11 along an edge 12 complementary to the edge 7 of member 2. Feet positions are marked at 13. Similar markings and arrows may be provided on the reverse side of member 3 and further arrows may be marked, along the edge 14 of member 3. Eachof said arrows on member 3 may be aligned with the arrow 8 on member 2 thus correctly positioning the two members 2 and 3 according to the type of golf club to be used to strike a ball positioned on a tee in one of the holes 4, 5. or 6. The members 2 and 3 may be made from green sheeting comprising plasticised polyvinyl chloride, synthetic rubber, synthetic and natural fibre, filler, pigment and additives.
