Abstract

1493801 Prefabricated room units PORTAKABIN Ltd 13 Dec 1974 [13 Sept 1973] 43019/73 Heading E1A In a portable prefabricated room unit or cabin 10, 11, 12 having telescopic legs 13 fixed thereto for mounting it on the ground or stacking it on another unit, the legs are connected in pairs by transversely-extending rigid beams 20, 24. The floor of the unit is connected to the beam 20 by a beam 18 and the upper end of the unit is connected to the leg 13 by a bolted strip 23. The unit may be open ended or have end walls and may be provided with fittings as desired. For minor details of joints, base plate 16, top plate 17, lifting lugs &c the Specification and remaining Provisional Drawings (not shown), should be referred to.
