1492972 Liquid level control GIRLING Ltd 21 Jan 1975 [7 Feb 1974] 05648/74 Heading G1H A probe giving warning of a drop in the level A of liquid in a reservoir 6 below a certain level has one or more baffle plates 8 which prevent or inhibit current leakage due to a conducting film of the liquid being formed by splashing between the probe tip and the earthed mounting, as shown, a filter cap 4. The plates may be so dimensioned that even if themselves covered with the film, the resistance of the path so provided would be too high for significant ourrent leakage.
