1492159 Imidazobenzodiazepines UPJOHN CO 17 Aug 1976 [29 Sept 1975] 21967/77 Divided out of 1492158 Heading C2C Compounds of the general formula (Ar=Ph, 2-Py, chlorophenyl, fluorophenyl, difluorophenyl; R 3 =H, F, Cl, Br, CF 3 , NO 2 ) are prepared by condensing the corresponding 1,3- dihydro - 5 - aryl - 2H - 1,4 - benzodiazepine - 2- thione with N-[2-(2-aminomethyl-1,3-dioxolan- 2-yl)ethyl]phthalimide, followed by cyclization.
