Abstract

1491573 Weighing conveyor COMPAGNIE GENERALE D'AUTOMATISME 17 July 1975 [24 July 1974] 30008/75 Heading G1W [Also in Division B8] A weighing conveyor comprises a continuous belt 1 passing around drums 2, 5, means 7, 8 for tensioning the belt, at least one weighing roll 15 bearing on a weighing element, and a frame 9, 10, 26, 27, 28 which carries the drums and the roll(s), and which is supported at either side by a set of supports 11, 12, the supports 11 being detachable from the conveyor and the supports 12 having apertures 24 whereby when it is desired to remove the belt, levers 40 may be inserted through the apertures 24 to engage the underside of the frame and raise it from the detachable supports 11 so that the supports 11 may be detached and the belt removed. Each support 12 includes a bearing plate 32 for the lever, and means may be provided for locating the lever correctly relative to plate 32. Each support 11 may be in two parts, the upper part only being detached.
