Abstract

Conveying means, particularly for use in shop checkouts, comprises an endless belt (11) on spaced rollers (9 and 10) and drivable by a motor, and an inclined receiving surface (21), the belt rollers and motor being carried by a support structure (8) which is removably supported on a floor-mounted chassis (1,2), and a frame (14) surrounding the support structure being removably carried thereby. An edge surround (22) may extend around the receiving surface (21) and a further endless belt may be interposed between the first belt and the receiving surface. The framework is constructed for ease of assembly and disassembly.
