Abstract

1490889 Junction pieces MANNESMANNROHREN-WERKE AG 31 Jan 1975 [22 Feb 1974] 4362/75 Heading F2G A tee-piece 1 for use in a one pipe heating system comprises a recess 2 forming an internal shoulder 3 and an intechangeable diaphragm 4 held against the shoulder 3 by an inserted pipe 5. The diaphragm 4 may be punched from sheet metal or turned on a lathe and it may be interchanged with other diaphragms having different apertures dependent upon the required flow conditions. In an alternative to the conical shape shown, the diaphragm may be in the form of a tapering nozzle member.
