1490247 2,5-Dihydroxybenzene sulphonic acid derivatives LABORATORIOS DEL DR ESTEVE SA 28 Jan 1975 [8 May 1974] 3752/75 Addition to 1418358 Heading C2C The invention comprises novel compounds (I) where R is H or p-chlorophenoxyisobutyryl (II), with the proviso that both R's are not simultaneously H, and B is H or an equivalent of an inorganic or organic cation, e.g. Ca, Mg, pyridine or piperazine (piperazine salts contain 1 or 2 moles of sulphonic acid corresponding to I). Pharmaceutical preparations useful for treating hyperlipemia and dislipemia contain (I) as active ingredient; administration is orally.
