1489357 Hydrocarbon synthesis MOBIL OIL CORP 24 May 1976 [2 June 1975] 21398/76 Heading C5E Hydrocarbons boiling in the gasoline range are produced by contacting synthesis gas at 400-1000‹ F. with a CO reducing catalyst comprising Hf and/or Zr, as metal, oxide and/or sulphide, in admixture with a crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite having a SiO 2 : Al 2 O 3 ratio of 12 to 3000 and a constraint index (defined) of 1-12. The zeolite may be ZSM-5, 11, 12 or 21. Sulphur may be added to the feed.
