Abstract

1488648 Securing an electronic device to a printed circuit KABELWERKE REINSHAGEN GmbH 3 Sept 1976 [4 Sept 1975] 36602/76 Heading H2E A transistor 9, or other electronic component having electrodes 10, 11, 12 is secured to a flexible printed strip cable 13 by a transparent polyamide hood 1. The hood is fastened to the cable 13 and base 14 by hooks 5, 6 and has a sealing lip 4 that is pressed against the cable by fixing the hooks in place. Lugs 7, 8 are provided to hold the transistor in place. One portion 3 of the hood is set at an angle to the other portion 2 so that when the hooks 5 are secured, the electrodes 11, 12 are firmly pressed against the contact surfaces 13a. The cable 13 and base 14 may be replaced by a rigid printed circuit board.
