Abstract

1486834 Electrical connector BUNKER RAMO CORP 17 Sept 1974 [1 Oct 1973] 40892/76 Divided out of 1486833 Heading H2E [Also in Division B3] An electrical connector 24 includes an elongate support having a head portion and a plurality of spaced apart contacts (not shown) arranged in a row along a portion of the support adjacent the head portion, with the contacts oriented generally parallel to each other for receiving a plurality of conductors 76 individually in each of the contacts, the head portion extending generally parallel to the row and containing a plurality of slots 75 aligned with the contacts so as to guide the individual conductors 76 to the individual contacts. The apparatus for inserting the conductors into the contact is disclosed and claimed in parent Specification (see Division B3).
