Abstract

1486785 Flash system in electro-photographic apparatus ADDRESSOGRAPH-MULTIGRAPH CORP 21 Oct 1974 [3 Dec 1973] 45523/74 Heading G2H A flash system 10 in an electro-photographic reproduction apparatus comprises a flash exposure means 12, flash fusing means 14, flash power supply and control circuit means to share time between the exposure and fusing means. Multiple flashes are used to fuse an entire copy by parts, each flash using considerably less energy than would be required for the whole copy. Preferably Xenon flash-lamps are used. The circuitry is described in detail.
