Abstract

1486285 Fusible cut-outs KABELWEREE REINSHAGEN GmbH 3 Oct 1974 [23 Nov 1973] 42906/74 Heading H2G A fuse box 1 comprises a plastics casing 2 and metal contact members 3 each retainable in the casing by two resilient elements 6 engaging recesses in the casing and having a first end 3a for engaging a fuse and an opposite end comprising contact portions 7 and 8 connectible to first and second wires, e.g. wires 10 and 9. Conductor 9 may be crimped, soldered or welded to the U-shaped portion 8 and conductor 10 is connected by means of a plug contact 7. To facilitate insertion of the fuse grooves may extend to openings 5 in first ends 3a of the contact members. Shoulders 11 on the casing prevent excessive deflection of the ends 3a.
