1485920 Document shredding apparatus A GOLDHAMMER 16 Sept 1975 [30 May 1975] 38113/75 Heading B2A Document shredding apparatus comprises a pair of shafts 1, 1a each having a helical flat 2. Identical shredding discs 6 each have a cut out such that when arranged on the shaft notches at the periphery of each disc will lie on a helical path, thus forming a helical groove. Each disc is spaced from its neighbour or neighbours by spacing discs 5. A scraper 7 mounted on the machine frame over each disc 5 scrapes shredded material from the knives 6.
