1485260 Tables; furniture frames and joints; ornamenting furniture STAR INDUSTRIAL CO Ltd 27 April 1976 17113/76 Headings A4H and A4U A table comprises angle section legs 23 supporting a top member 1 and a lower shelf member 2, each leg having flanges 5 that form seatings for portions of members 1 and 2, the flanges 5 being connected to the members 1, 2, e.g. by screws 10 inserted through holes 9 in flanges 5 and screwed into tapped bushes (7) on the underside of members 1, 2. The legs may also have spaced ribs 24, 26 to support an intermediate shelf member 22 and a decorative band or guard rail 25. The members 1, 2 may be rectangular or circular. The members 1, 2, 22 and the legs 23 may comprise plastics.
