1484131 Anti-inflammatory material from serum or plasma NATIONAL RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT CORP 25 Oct 1974 [26 Oct 1973] 50037/73 Heading A5B A process for the production of anti-inflammatory material comprises subjecting mammation serum, plasma or a suitable fraction thereof to ultrafiltration and then to gel filtration on a gel material having a negative charge, and eluting from the gel with an aqueous medium of low ionic strength, a fraction which exhibits anti-inflammatory activity in the carrageenan rat paw oedema test.
