Abstract

1483595 Joining conveyer pans PITCRAFT Ltd 7 Nov 1974 [11 Sept 1973] 42665/73 Heading B8A [Also in Division E2] A joint between two components, e.g. two conveyer pans 2A, 2B, to afford relative freedom of movement between the components whilst also being capable of transmitting considerable loads, the joint comprising a bar 12 with an enlargement 13 at each end, a pair of yokes 8 adapted to be secured one to each of the components, the yokes having a width A intermediate the width C of the bar 12 and the width of the enlargements 13 and having a combined length B less than the length D of the bar 12 between the enlargements 13 to an extent dependent upon the amount of freedom required, and a pair of closure members, e.g. side frames 4 of the pans 2A, 2B, adapted to be secured one to each of the components to span the open ends of the yokes.
