Abstract

1483094 Kitchen cabinets; basins ALNOMOBELWERKE Gmbh & CO K G 2 Aug 1974 [18 Aug 1973] 34236/74 Headings A4B A4H A4N and A4U A kitchen unit assembly comprises parallelepiped modules equipped with built-in appliances, one module having an outwardly pivoting front door which carries on its inner face said built-in appliance, all said appliances being adapted to be connected to a source of gas, electricity or water. As shown, the assembly comprises modules 15, 3 and 16; module 15 having a built-in dishwasher 18 and a pivoted door 17 carrying a grill; module 3 having a built-in sink basin 4; and module 16 having a built-in oven 21 and refrigerator 27 and a pivoted door 19 carrying a hot-plate 20. The sink basin 4 comprises a lower semi-spherical part 8 with an outflow opening 12 and an upper quarter spherical part 9 with an inlet opening 13, the upper part 9 having a groove 10 rotatably guided on an edge 11 of lower part 8 to close the basin. The module 3 houses the water supply and waste lines and power supply lines and mounts the grips 5 for tap fittings, sockets 6 and temperature controls 7 for the hot water. Module 3 has a pivoted door 14 which may be connected to a waste disposal unit. Module 16 has a fume-extraction hood 22 with a pivoted cover 23. Each door such as 19 has rollers (28), Figs. 5a, 5b, (not shown) that run in guide tracks (30, 31) on the module so that on pivoting forwardly it moves partially rearwardly into the module, the door being braked by a spring 26 or a gas spring.
