Abstract

1482080 Sheet coating apparatus KODAK Ltd 10 Oct 1974 [11 Oct 1973] 47482/73 Heading B2L [Also in Divisions D1 and G2] In photographic processing apparatus sheets are fed along a path 62 (perpendicular to the plane of the paper) between opposed parallel surfaces 52, 56 having orifices fed with processing liquid by passageways 58, 60. The upper and lower set of passageways are each parallel, the passageways being inclined to the surfaces and lying in a plane perpendicular to the direction of the sheet feed path. The processing liquid is circulated by means (not shown) and plenum chambers 64, 66. In an alternative embodiment only one of the surfaces has orifices which are fed from a manifold. The apparatus may be completely immersed in a processing bath.
