Abstract
1481197 Drink dispensers; coffee machines BOSCH-SIEMENS HAUSGERATE GmbH 14 Oct 1974 [16 Oct 1973 19 Oct 1973] 44491/74 Headings A4E and A4T A coffee-making machine 1 comprises a coffee powder container 2 into which hot-water may be introduced to form the drink, the container 2 being displaceable between a dispensing position Fig. 3 (not shown) in which liquid may discharge through an outlet 6, and an inoperative position, Fig. 1, in which any residual liquid is prevented from passing through the outlet 6. The container 2, preferably a coffee filter, is pivotably supported, being turned from the stable inoperative position to the operative one by engagement of webs 10 on an inserted coffee can 5 with a stop 9 on the container. Alternatively, Fig. 4, the container 23, together with a lid 25, may be pivotable on a knife edge bearing 29 by means of an arm 30, an element 31 being co-operable with a projection 33 to locate the container 23 in the inoperative position for removal of the coffee can 22.
