Abstract
1480656 Inclinometers PRODEV Ltd 22 Jan 1976 [28 Jan 1975] 3673/75 Heading G1F [ Also in Division G2] The main member 1 of an inclinometer comprises a pendulum 6 alignable with a vertical datum line 9 which crosses a horizontal datum line 10, the two lines 9, 10 being on a transparent portion 8, the member 1 being telescopically slidable within a rectangular box-like casing (2) Fig. 1 (not shown). The member 1 also comprises a rangefinder unit 5 which consists of a graduated transparent scale 13. A flap 23 formed by slots 19, 20, and projections 21, 22 serves to retain the member 1 in the casing (2) at positions for using the inclinometer, the rangefinder and for storage as well as to clamp the pendulum during storage. The datum lines 9, 10 may have graduations.
