1479906 Window operating mechanism ELLBEE Ltd 22 May 1975 [16 Oct 1974] 44920/74 Heading E2M An operating mechanism for a hinged window comprises a stay arm 5 pivoted at one end to the window and at the other end to an externally screw threaded spindle 3 guided for longitudinal movement through an axially fixed nut 2 which is rotatable through bevel gearing 2A 4A by a handle 4. The spindle is enclosed in a two part casing 1, (1A) and the arm 5 projects through a slot 11 formed between the casing parts. For Figure see next column
